Well I am new here and just wanted to let everyone know. I had a 09 All Terrain SLT on order and just found out from the dealer that the order cannot be filled as the option has been discontinued. Luckly they found me the same truck at another dealer but in steel grey instead of summit white, but it had all the other options I requested. If you are wanting an all terrain you better get one now.

 

Going to miss my 06 Sierra when I trade her in next week.

Wait... what?! They've eliminated the A/T package?? Wonder why.....

 

Not that I'm complaining, it just means my truck is guaranteed to stay somewhat rare.

 

I think I'd better pick up some spare A/T parts though while I can get them. Assuming this is accurate, of course. I'll have to do some investigating!

 

EDIT: I just had a thought.... maybe it's just that ordering for '09s is done, and the package will come back on 2010 models?

Could only find 3 Steel Gray AT's in May that were within 500 miles of my dealer. And only one that I purchased with the options I wanted. They still have 3 on the lot with the package last time I checked.

Relax guys the AT pkg is still available on the 2010's

 

Go here click print book and exterior. It will pop up with all the ext options and #1 is the AT pkg available on the SLE and SLT pkg

Ha... site wouldn't come up for me last night, but I figured that would be the most likely case. They most likely ran out of production capacity for 09 models and put GAT on constraint until the next model year starts running.

When i was getting my first service from my dealer, they were saying that the AT package was on some kind of hold on the 09's and they couldnt get them right now but im sure they will be back its an AWESOME package

If it is available for 2010 then my dealer is not aware of it. I did order an 09 so maybe they ran out of parts? Thanks for the clarification.

If you don't need the truck now, and really want the color you originally ordered, I'd suggest waiting for a 2010 if you can.

On a side note: the upgraded Air Bags and USB Radio option would be nice additions.

i love my AT, glad I spent the extra and got the option, only thing I wish it had a bit more storage in the center cup holder area

I had a Summit White All Terrain Ext on order too, dealer called me 2 weeks after GM accepted the order and told me they were "Built Out" for the year. Luckily a dealership a few hours away had the EXACT truck I built being built already and was just about ready to leave for the dealership...so instead of going there, its coming to me. I should get it next week, only slightly excited....ok I'm counting down the days like a kid for Christmas. My 03 Blazer ZR2 was good to me, but can't wait for a full size and this is my first NEW truck. Exciting times!
