My new truck is being made today in Mexico.......yea I know.

 

Just wondering if anyone knows of some way to check and see if this has been done or shipped......etc?

I have the order number for reference.

If you can find someone with access to the GM private system, they can enter your order number and track its status all the way through delivery to you. It is done on a regular basis over on camaro5.com for the members who have ordered new Camaros. There are different event codes for each step of the process. Here's an example from camaro5.com:

 

2010 2SS/RS VICTORY RED / BLACK LEATHER - 6 SPEED M TRANS

Order # NKGRSP

1100 = Preliminary Order Placed by Dealer: 5/21/09

3000 = Accepted By Production Control: 5/27/09

3300 = Scheduled For Production: 6/23/09

3400 = Broadcast: 7/2/09

3800 = Produced: 2G1FT1EWXA9******

--4B = 7/17/2009 - 4D 7/21/2009 - 4B 7/24/2009

4200 = Shipped:

5000 = Delivered To Dealer:

6000 = Delivered To Customer:
