Hard Starting Sometimes

2008 I4 colorado, 20k on the clock...sometimes you have to rag on it to start, it is not a constant problem, only seems to happen when its been driven or is warm..its got a new throttle body and new fuel pressure regulator.

not mine, its my buddys, he has the habit of waiting for something to bust or for the dash to start glowing like a christmas tree..just trying to find a crumb trail to follow to push him towards taking it in

Sounds to me like its flooding...an injector may be getting stuck open and leaking down. Or something else may be wrong with the fuel system.
