  1. youll notice it... I think because of the hills, here in Pa., I notice it more... when I start pulling a hill, or go around an uphill curve, it feels like a cylinder misfires, stumbles to me...or if I make a turn, the trans should have downshifted, and it didn't...

Ok, Thank You...I took pics and will show the SVS. Mgr.
  3. after you drive it some more, let us know if its taken care of, or not... I'm off for another 2 1/2 weeks, so I may stop at a dealer here in Pa. to see if they've got the update and can take care of it.
  4. Ive noticed it at times on my '17...I'm betting on a software update in the near future...
  5. my other Son-In-Law has one on his truck with no problems...I cant believe we got 2 with the same.
  6. My Son-In-Law ordered right from Tonnopro...we installed it, and the rear bar is bowed down 1/2"...cant shut the tailgate without lifting the center of the cover above tailgate...Tonnopro sent another, and it was worse... when you do get the tailgate closed, the rear corners are raised up, leaving a gap between the seal and the bedrail...
  7. all I can tell you is, it was vibrating pretty bad on the turnpike...while I was off the turnpike, traveling between a few stores, I put it in and out of 4wd a few times at around 40 mph...when I headed back up the highway at 65 to 70 mph, the vibration wasn't there... i'm ruling out tires, because I traveled at least 300 miles after the dealer service, and it was fine... the reason that I thought about putting it in and out of 4wd was, that 1 of the recalls was for reprogramming something with the 4wd... and like I said...never an ounce of vibration in almost 25,000 miles...
  8. 2015 Silverado C.C. 4WD - NEVER had an ounce of vibration in 25,500 miles...I work away, so I run the Pa. turnpike twice a week. or so...about 110 miles each way @ 70+ mph... UNTIL... I dropped the truck off 2 weeks ago at the local dealer here in ohio to get the 3 recalls done, seat flex fixed, and I let them do the free oil change/rotate tire service, which I never use, because its inconvenient for me. recalls were airbag, seat belt, and 4wd issues... after picking the truck up, I drove it locally, to work, and then to home and back on turnpike...about 300 miles with no issues... Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I had to take care of something 20 miles away, so I got on the turnpike after work, and getting up to around 74 mph, the steering wheel was shaking, and the truck vibrated like never before...I slowed to 65...no change...to 55...still vibrating... I would have bet money that a wheel was coming loose...but after pulling over and checking all with a wheel wrench, all are tight... vibrated the rest of the way...took care of business...then checked engine/trans oils...crawled underneath...nothing seemed out of place or loose. next, while going up a slight grade, I noticed when the trans shifted into 3rd or 4th. the engine revved a couple hundred rpm...like it slipped...it did it once more after I had to slow for traffic. on my way back to the highway, I put it in and out of 4 w.d. a few times... got on the highway, and the vibration was gone...next day, going home on the turnpike, no vibration...on the weekend I even had it up to 85 on I-70...no vibration...back to work Monday morning on the turnpike...no vibration...
  9. Looks Nice... first time I saw that brand... did you get the model with rear cam locks, or the pull cord to release latches...? don't see any online dealers...whats the price on those...?
  10. I like the Ventshades, so I can leave the windows open a little, when parked in the hot sun at work all day... I've had the stick-on AVS on 10 trucks, and had no problems until the 2011 CrewCab...the passenger side front door must of fell off on my way to work in the morning...never saw or heard anything...but 80% of the tape was still stuck to the door, so I assume the problem was either AVS or the tape... I put a set of the AVS in-channel on a 2012 Malibu I had...because I didn't want to cover the chrome on the door headers...the fronts were no problem... the rears didn't fit...I had to trim some material(about 3/16") to get them in the channel...I don't know why there's no tape on the vertical part, but I could never get my windows up without puling out on the visor... I ended up tapering the bottom edge and a piece of double sided tape helped... since the 2015 Silverado Crew I have now, has no exposed rubber weatherseal , I'm thinking about the in-channels...mabe EGR or Weathertechs...
  11. That's where the hinge is... I haven't looked at it close, but seems a little wider than the frame there...
