  1. From what Barra said a little bit after Ford made the announcement that they were cutting all of their car lines, GM has invested too much in their small cars to axe them now; and when gas prices spike again (and it’s not a matter of IF they will spike, but WHEN) ford will be scrambling to bring back their small cars. My Aveo might have been from the Bad Old Days at GM; but I get 29-30 MPG consistently, and that is WITH DTCs for Evaporative issues, leaking heater hoses, and a False P0420! 2. Ford charges nearly $50K for their NEXT TO BOTTOM trim level F150; you will pay nearly $50K for just the privilege of having a V8 Mustang, they want nearly $80K for an Expedition Max, and the biggest Super Duty has cracked the Six Figure Barrier! Something tells me that Ford is going to go into a panic when gas prices spike again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As Steven Majoros once said in an interview, the Crossover is now king; mainly because safety regulations have turned sedans into hard to see out of pillboxes. And it also doesn’t help that boomers want vehicles with a high seat height and easy to see out of, something that crossovers do quite well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You are the ONLY person to say something good about the new Blazer; everyone else has completely rejected it because it isn’t like the K5 Blazer. News flash: the crossover is now replacing the typical sedan and Body on Frame SUV! Everyone has forgotten about the Blazer/Jimmy of the 80s to early 2000s, and how small it was. 5. More than likely, Spring Hill is at capacity running Acadias and XT5s; and I believe Oshawa is at capacity building Equinoxes and it’s platform mates as well. And because they are sending Truck production to both Fort Wayne and Flint from Mexico, it gives the Mexican plant something to build. And now my reaction to the Blazer name being brought back: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. aaand the Cost of New Vehicles Just went Up ANOTHER $10K!
  7. I actually installed an earlier version of the ZEVO LED lamps (they were from Sylvania, they just didn't have the ZEVO branding yet) for My Little Aveo and the difference between the LEDs and the old incandescent bulbs were TREMENDOUS! I plan on doing the same modification to both the truck and our Suzuki very soon! Sent to the Interwebs by a Phone Shaped Apple
  8. Before you even ask: YES, that is My Little Pony on the lid of my Toolbox, and NO, There is nothing Wrong with my Masculinity.
  9. Your pilot training has pretty much taught you that running out of fuel is VERY BAD, because running out of fuel in an aircraft has much deadlier consequences. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I have Forza 3; and it has the '09 Aveo5, which is essentially the Hatchback Version of my '10 Aveo Sedan. its fun to do things to the Digital Aveo, that I would NEVER Do in my REAL Aveo!
  11. not the 4.8, it was stuck with the 4L60E until the very bitter end when it along with the 4L60E was dropped for the EcoTec3 Engines.
  12. the Escalade is approaching $80K in the Platnium trim!
  13. these prices are not ideal; they SHOULD have priced the Z71 a few thousand dollars shy of a Silverado WT.
  14. Nah, if you are going to Drive a Porsche, Drive it in Climate Controlled Comfort!
