Apples suck. Except in apple pie. Can't make a very good orange pie. Plus, orange is a color. And a juice. And a fruit. but there are no Granny Smith Oranges. but if you freeze an orange in liquid nitrogen it shatters pretty well.

Apples don't need to be mixed with vodka. Their juice can be fermented into a great (And potent) drink without having to add any other liquor.
