Radio Wiring Diagram

Hi guys,

 

I was wondering if anybody has access to radio wiring diagram for newer GM models. I have GMC Savana 2007 Explorer conversion.

 

I bought aftermarket 2 din navigation system and I am trying to install it myself. I have it already 3 months and cannot figure out the connections (wires) coming from the engine department. (The new radio has sticker on each wire)

 

I bought radio T-harness for Savana 2002 -up (GM08B) from Scosche but it does not work with that. Pins are on different place.

Maybe because the car is conversion van.

They might have changed something with wiring.

I will probably try to adjust the harness that I have.

It has same numbers of wires but some of them are in different place and need to be relocated.

IE in harness there is power antenna or remote turn on, dimmer - I don't have that in my car.

 

I have following colors in pins:

Pin 1-red

Pin 7- light green

8 tan

9 white

10 dark green

11 orange

13 white with black stripe

14 tan

15 orange

16 light blue

17 dark blue

19 violet

22 violet

24 orange

 

Any idea or a link is appreciated...

yeah you need connector for an 07 up now. the 02 up is only actually for 02-07 (old style radios)

 

The connector you need is like this

Thanks, I actually got it working after few hours with the 02-07 cable.. It was just matter of figuring out which wire is for what. Thanks anyway! Wes
