Trucks With 305

Does anyone know what years the 305 was offered on GM/Chevy trucks with throttle body injection? Also, does anyone know if a T-5 transmission will bolt right up to a 305 and what bellhousing would I have to use to it?

Don't know what all years were covered but I had a 79 w/ a 305 and it was a great engine....no problems whatsoever.

the 305 (5.0L) with throttle body injection (TBI) will be in all tbi years which were 1988 to 1995. ....(maybe 87's as well .... not sure ... but my '86 had a carburetor)

 

... don't know about the transmissions..
