Login Everytime?

Whether it's from my phone, the laptop, or the pc I have to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME to this site.

 

What's the reason behind this? every motorcycle site and many others have no problems holding the cookies.

 

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have to on my computer but not on my phone. But thats by my own doing because my room mates liked to be dicks and change my facebook status. So now it just deletes all the cookies after I get off.

If you log into alot of websites I would recommend this neat little tool called "Roboform". You can download it free from www.roboform.com . It stores up to 10 logins and passwords (if you pay a fee you can get the unlimited version). You can even set it up on your PC to be password protected - so essentially you would only have to input one "master password" and then all you need to do is select the site form their custom pulldown tab (similar to the "favorites" tab) - and your automatically logged in. Its something that I have on all of my pc's now (work, home & laptop).

A paid version of this that I absolutely love is 1Password. Same premise, but a bit more robust. You can sync it to your iphone as well.

Really? I've never heard of this program. What's it's security like? Is it easily hackable and some clown can obtain all banking, etc records?

Its just a program that you download and install on your computer. Therefore there is no transferring of your information. I use it simply because I cant remember all my passwords, so all I need to remember is 1.

Get Firefox and choose "YES" when it asks you if you'd like it to remember the password.

Gotta watch out for those pesky roommates! Otherwise you never know what kinda status updates you will have! EX: "Headen over to the gay pride rally this afternoon to show my true colors! Everyone join me there for support!"
