Liquid Glass

Spent a good portion of my afternoon yesterday thoroughly cleaning my truck so that I could put on a coat of Liquid Glass... Its very easy to apply and did wonders concealing alot of my swirl scratches. Its like adding a new clear coat... I found it at Auto-Zone for $17.99 when I couldnt find Zaino anywhere... I am VERY pleased though and I am planning on adding another coat tonight and maybe one tomorrow as well, hehe.... I will post some pics in the Pic-Post as soon as I can get them hosted...

For a minute I thought I was reading something from the olden dayz mechanics bible of backyard repairs.  Liquid Glass was a product a person could purchase over 20 years ago at a pharmacy that could be poured into a radiator to repair cracked engine blocks.  I am not sure why it had to be purchased at a pharmacy or the real name of the stuff or even the real purpose of the product but it worked very well as a band aid to fix cracked engine blocks.  This is a very old fix that my dad swears by but I would not recommend it on a newer vehicle.

I have used liquid glass too. Great stuff. I had about 5 coats on my 2000 Z71 It always shined like new. Never had any spots from acid rain or birds. Once the weather warms up I'll put several coats on the Trailblazer but it has to be over 60 to put it on

Liquid Glass is great stuff! Hard to find, goes on well and comes off very easy. I have put three coats on in the last month in prep for the winter. Another product Finish First is very similar in package, application and finish. Both products are very good.

I've seen that stuff around and have never tried it... Never really heard much about it. I'll have to take a second look at it.

Can't wait to see the photos.

Never heard of it. Sounds pretty good. I have used Maguire's swirl x but could only get major swirls out. Might have to give it a try. Thanks for the review, can't wait to see the pics.
