OUMike Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Hey guys, My girlfriend and her family have a brand new generator/welder for sale. They purchased the generator for Hurricane Ike relief and it was used for about a day and a half. When they bought it the only ones they had left were generators with welders, so they basically had no other option. The generator comes with a 3 year completely transferable manufacture warranty. All documentation can be provided. The unit is a Hobart Champ Welder 4500 and the Amazon page can be found here... Amazon The generator is located in League City, TX and I would be happy to meet buyer as far north as the Woodlands. We need to unload it as soon as we can. PM me for more contact information. If you do not live in the Houston area and are interested in purchasing the generator, PM me and we can discuss shipping arrangements, payment options ect. Asking price is $1200, but I would be happy to entertain other offers. We're really looking to get rid of thing as soon as we can. Right now every little bit helps. Thanks a lot guys.
Wingnut Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I don't know what you did with that Amazon link, but it's a big pile of FAIL.

The Houston area market is flooded with post Ike generators. I would list it on craigs list but you will have to adjust the price to fit the market to get any bites. I have been fighting the urge of one of the 50% off like new Hondas myself. Prices are crazy low on month old generators right now. Yea..I'm thinking we're probably gonna have to wait a little bit. I was considering Craig'sList myself but like you said...I'll probably have to come down on the price. Unfortunately I'm not really willing to mark it down 50%. Guess I'll wait six or eight months.
