I bought a spare pan off of ebay just in case I ever have to put original back in, it was only ~$17 bucks. Then drilled 1/2 inch hole and welded a nut on the out side. This way most, if not all, fluid will drain out when doing a change. I didn't like the no weld kits that require a nut on both sides, wont get most of the fluid out that way. Can't remember what size bolt/nut I used. Also using a copper washer, sense mating surfaces of bolt/nut are not meant to be air tight. Copper gets crushed and forms a very secure and solid seal. Paint is jut some rattle can rust prevention/bed liner stuff I have sitting around. Figured would hide my ugly welds.

I love looking at the custom trucks as well try looking on custom offsets web site their customers have a data base of trucks. I swear I could look at those trucks all day.

They’re 33x12.50r17. Pretty much the same height as the 285/70 but wider. I swapped the 33s for 315/70r17 and only rub the wheel liner

Thanks! Hey it's not to late, would save you from doing all those fluid changes every 15k miles. Honestly there is nothing wrong with what FL355i did other then the fluid flow direction. If I wasn't so ocd I would have went same route mounting on the frame. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it that way. One thing to note is that kit comes with aluminum hose barb adapters they "feel" (key word here) flimsy. If I was to use it as intended, I would get brass adapters.

Missed this one lol. Alright 2 months late here but whatever lol. The truck was a fleet order for a small company that either folded or decided not to take it or whatever. So it's a Stone Blue Metallic SLE Z71 6 liter with dual full power heated cloth buckets, flow through console and wireless charging. Has Bose with the sub in the console, power pedals, homelink, remote start, power rear slider. Then it gets weirder..... truck has manual climate control, not digital dual zone like you would expect. The truck does not have fog lights even as a higher trimmed SLE. It also has no back up sensors in the bumper but does have a rear camera. It also has the factory spray in liner, under rail LED lights in the bed and the factory fifth wheel prep pack with the plastic covered holes in the box...... but was downgraded tow rating wise to 9700 lbs maximum with 3.73 gears. Came originally with the 18's I can't stand so I swapped to the grey background 20's. My biggest complaint is remembering to set the climate control when I get out of it at night if it's somewhere outside. It will turn on the heated seats when it's cold automatically but just blows whatever temp air wherever you left it lol. Been more than once where after 20 minutes of run time the windshield is still frozen because I forgot to set it to heat and defrost lol. The gearing is being fixed with 4.56 and I don't really care about foglights. I like it... my biggest thing was a console equipped truck with bose and cloth... this fit the bill.

6" BDS lift with Fox DSC coilovers and 2.0 Rear shocks, BDS add-a-leaf. 35x12.5 Toyo MT rubber on factory 20x10 snowflakes. 1.5" Bora spacers in rear to even out with the front stance. No rubbing whatsoever and rides better than stock even before the Fox DSC Low Speed / High Speed adjustments are made!

Just saw this post, I will go ahead and introduce next. Name is Chris, and I have lived in Texas since I was born. Besides a short stint at UNT for college, I have lived around the Rockwall area (about 30 minutes east of Dallas). I drive a 2015 Crew Cab 4x4 Texas Edition. As most Texans are I am proud of being from Texas, so I just ordered Matte Black Texas Edition logos so that I can keep it on my truck and remove the chrome. Was my first truck to buy new, and it is a slow build to where I hope to get it eventually.
