Put some new spyder tail lights on. Yeah it’s snowing pretty good too. Love the lights though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Hello! I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ with DL3 mirrors. My mirrors have all the features, memory, power fold, hear, turn signals, marker lights. I would like to purchase the 1A Auto black smoked tow mirrors with the same features. Do I need a wiring harness for anything? My truck seems to have all of the pins in the harness indicated in the post on the first page. Thanks!1 point

Got the harness today (thanks Phil) and found that everything fits and works perfectly. It was literally plug and play. This is on a 2017 Impala btw1 point

If I had a 4wd and lived anywhere that snowed the first thing I'd do would put Iroks or MTR's on. Iroks are more aggressive but they have more lug noise than the MTR's but functioned VERY well on my old Toyota crawler on just about any terrain.1 point

Hi Phil were you able to find one? Let me know how to connect with you to buy it-we could do something through PayPal? thanks1 point

I have not, nor has my dad who has a truck in this generation as well. Although theoretically I suppose it's possible: More turbulent air created by the flow through suspension parts instead of around them. These trucks are so heavily sound deadened though I doubt you'd hear it.1 point

I received my harnesses and they look great... Unfortunately, I am just staring at them for now. I have to find time and cooperative weather to put them in1 point

Just want to send a shout out to Phil. I just finished installing some 1A Auto tow mirrors on my 1500 Denali truck using Phil's DIY wiring harness kit. Everything works perfectly, the instructions were very simple and clear. Thanks Phil.1 point

I know it makes a bigger donut which translates to lower rippems and overall better fuel economy, but the guy was nuts cranking them up to 70 piss eyes. Still got crap mileage because the problem was not in the tire. Air, fuel, spark. It wasn't getting #1.1 point

did the exact same thing with some DL3 mirrors. Forgot to cancel a bid got two sets coming. I got them for a reasonable enough deal so ill probably flip them on here. For what its worth had I not ordered all new. I would have been interested in the console too.1 point

Got my 2015 GMC a few weeks ago and every day I try to undo something the previous owner did. Seems he had problems with gas milage, (as did I) but had some odd ideas how to fix it. He had the tires pumped up to 70 psi. Yikes! Refused to change the air filter, which I admit looked fine, but at 50k and $20? Really? So then I guess in some misguided act of frustration, he traded it in. Probably made a salesman happy. So new filter, cleaned mass air flow sensor, cleaned throttle body and tire pressures returned to spec. Sea Foam, new tank of gas and a a 30 mile romp in the county and it went from 11 to 18.3 avg on the trip meter which may or may not mean anything. Oh and I keep washing it, but it keeps snowing.1 point

I will have to agree that the one and only time the DEF low indicator came on for the 1000mi warning I was near the middle of no where and had just fueled up. I thought I could make it back home with my trailer without another warning - I was only 150 miles from there. However I got about 75mi out and the second warning came on, by the time I got home it was threating a slow down. Added 5gal of DEF and all was good. Dealer topped off the tank at the first oil change - have not added any more since. I suspect that my selling dealer did not fully fill the tank upon delivery.1 point

You know what I don’t like. That the DEF gauge in the DIC just has “Ok” until you get to the bottom 30%. It should have a scaled indicator like the oil life or fuel filter life. Just my .02 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I went ahead and did an oil change on the truck but decided to leave transmission filter in till the next time. It hardly had any miles on it sense the install, figured it would be pointless to change out. I'll try and update this thread once I have filter changed out.1 point
