  1. You can also push the tow haul button in for 5 seconds or so & turn off the grade braking.
  2. I have this programmer but I got it for the main purpose of turning off the afm. So I didn't really pay attention to any real performance upgrade with it. I did up the shift firmness with it to the towing firmness setting which was the lowest setting I think. Most everybody here will tell you blackbear or other tunes but for me the hypertech did what I needed.
  3. Does anyone know anything about the Leer HF350M folding cover? I looked at the dealer miniature display model today & liked what I saw.
  4. To do this getting rid of the vacuum pump do you also have to get rid of the oil catch can I have installed?
  5. Ok thanks
  6. What size washers did you use?
  7. Yes it has made it without a catch can. All he has done is have the oil changed & other routine maintenance.
  8. I know everyone will say it's not my truck but a man who delivers all our nuts & bolts to my work place has a 2014 gmc cc 4x4 5.3 with around 175,000 miles now. It's his personal truck as well as work. Only thing he's had fixed is the blend door arm in the hvac broke.
  9. I made my own can so the first hoses I used was just regular vacuum hose. When I changed I did both hoses.
  10. I got the hose given to me free of charge so I used it. Didn't mean it had to be 350 psi.
  11. The hose will collapse if it's just regular vacuum hose or fuel line. That's what causes the whistle or noise. As soon as I got some strong 350 psi hose no more noise.
  12. Mine did until I used hose rated for 350 psi.
  13. What rims are those? Oh great looking truck by the way!
  14. I would not put it back in the engine. Just throw it out.
  15. Thanks for the info. I really don't want to lift it any as its a 2wd. I wouldn't mind lowering it just a little maybe a 2/4" drop. Of course I'm not that up to date on thsee trucks as to what size fits without rubbing.
  16. I had a 93,94 & a 96 rcsb trucks with 15"x10" rims with p295/50/15 bfg tires. I liked the look. The only good I see in the bigger rims is in the case of a blow out there's less sidewall so more control. Ride comfort suffers & the look of a tire stretched around the rim like a rubber band just doesn't look that good to me. Guess I'm stuck with 17". Any advice on where to look for something around a 17x10" rim with a wide tire that matches the same height as the factory tire? That way I don't have to recalibrate for tire height change.
  17. Will 16" rims fit on these trucks? Mine has the 17" stock aluminum wheels. Just not a fan of the huge rims today. Thanks!
  18. I know this is not my truck but a contractor at my work has a 14 gmc 4x4 5.3 cc and as of last Wednesday he has over 96,000 on it!
  19. Good looking stock in the stable! Is that a 71 Nova SS I spy?
  20. What wheels & tires? Those really set off the whole package to me!
  21. Very nice beater! Like the grille painted but kept the chrome around the bottom. Very nice!!
  22. Thank you for the information I'm heading to the dealer to get the stuff & fix it before it breaks!
  23. Looks like a storm trooper from star wars!
  24. My can made the same noise. Then I noticed the hose was kind of oval shaped. Got some 350 psi hose & no more hiss!
  25. Can someone who has had this fixed by the dealer please post pictures of the bracket & where it's located?
