  1. Laura has a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport. Personally, I would fly out and drive my new truck home. What a way to break in a new truck.
  2. I had mine replaced about two months ago. Would have cost me $1400 but, because I bought an extended warranty for the first time, I paid zero. For the record, I have a 19 with just shy of 97,000 miles on it. The leak started around 90,000 miles.
  3. Bought my 19 AT4 from them 4 years ago. No issues and would go back to buy again. The only haggling was on my trade and they offered me more than I expected to begin with so the process was easy and fairly quick. It took me longer than I thought it would only because my truck had just come off the trailer and hadn't been prepped yet so I had to wait a bit for that.
  4. Unfortunately, its not just GM with minor issues like fit and finish. I've owned trucks and cars from several manufacturers. Quality has definitely gotten progressively worse over the years over all brands.
  5. I've seen it advertised that way and have used mine more than once to haul stuff with no issues.
  6. Mine weren't bad until around 40,000 miles. They were unbearable in the 45-60 range. Everything else was ok though.
  7. Just another of many electrical gremlins in these trucks. Funny thing is I actually have an AT4 and I've never seen that.
  8. I haven't done anything in regards to my reverse lights to this truck, yet. But, on previous trucks, I installed Rigid light pods. Easy to mount under the bumper and the light output was excellent. Plus, the 3 way switch was great. I could use the lights while hooking up a trailer at night or for anything for that matter. If I remember correctly, the kit was around $300 which is kind of steep for lights but it was well worth it.
  9. I hit mine by mistake and the tailgate opened and hit the concrete wall in my parking garage. Minor damage but man was I mad. I'm pretty sure that's the only time that button has been used.
  10. I'm liking the bumper. I hope they make something similar for the Sierra.
  11. I've had mine on since about a week after I got my truck. Love them and will put them on any truck I buy. No issues whatsoever.
  12. Same on mine. I checked after they were installed to make sure they weren't hitting anything and they were just barely touching at the rear of the cab on the mount. Shaved maybe 1/16 of an inch off and the noise is still there. I've gotten used to it over the last year though. When I hear it walking away after parking it, I know the steps are up where they belong. Same when I get in to drive away.
  13. I have driven Dodge, Ford, Chevy and GMC trucks my entire adult life. In my opinion, they all suffer from quality control issues and they get worse with every new vehicle I buy. I hate to say it but they dont make things like they used to. Having said that, I have been pretty happy with my 19. It has just shy of 40,000 miles on it and it has yet to be in the shop for anything other than recalls and oil changes.
  14. My AT4 has the same issue. Not all the time but intermittently. I've looked around under the rear end but can't seem to find anything obvious. I've seen other posts about the same issue on here but no solution that I know of.
  15. Same issue for me. Slight intermittent whistle that started after about 8 months of ownership. No way to duplicate it and I cant predict it either. Frustrating because I know taking it in for just this issue would probably be pointless unless I get lucky and the noise happens to start when I pull it in the shop.
  16. I've had mine on for a year now and they have been loud from day one. I checked to make sure they weren't hitting anything or binding up somehow after they were installed. I found that they were hitting a bracket for a body mount at the rear of the cab just as they came to a stop. I ground a bit off the corner and painted it over to prevent rust and they clear it now. However, they're still loud. I guess its just the mechanism and I have grown used to it.
  17. Same thing happened to me (minus the stroller). I hit my button by mistake in my parking garage at work. Its a tight garage so I back into a spot so its easier to get out. I somehow managed to hit the button and the concrete wall stopped the tailgate. Not much damage, just some scrapes that I covered with touch paint. I may have it repaired at some point. I did not get the warning message or any audible alerts either.
  18. I put Amp's on my AT4 and love them. They're the perfect fit for the truck.
  19. I recently switched from Android to Iphone due to everyone in my family having one. Because of this issue, I switched back to Android. The only time I had this issue was with the Iphone. Android works fine.
  20. I just got an iPhone 11 yesterday and noticed my volume turned down as well. I turned the "change volume with buttons" selector off but haven't checked to see if it worked yet. I came from a Samsung and never had any issues with connectivity in the truck.
  21. Dealer stickers come off any vehicle I buy as soon as I get home with it. They usually peel right off. Just clean up afterward to get any sticky stuff off.
  22. I noticed shortly after I got my truck that the pad was cold to the touch. HVAC directly behind it explains that I guess. As far as charging speed goes, mine charges slowly. Still pretty convenient though.
  23. Mine does this about once a week. As previously mentioned, the manual says the truck will activate the parking brake to test the system. Im assuming thats whats going on. Kind of weird in my opinion.
  24. Road noise isn't too bad. I dont notice it at highway speeds but its there in town around 30-35. Not unbearable though. I've gotten used to it
  25. When I bought my AT4, there were several of both on the lot. The 18s looked better to me so that's what I went with. Not that the 20s were bad. Just not as aggressive on a truck designed like the AT4.
