  1. Definitely get noise from that as well. That piece should be more secure than what it is from the factory.
  2. I did this exact switch about 6 months ago and don't regret it one bit. I had a 2019 trail boss that I traded in on a 2021 Z71 Tahoe and it was the best decision I have made. The air ride combined with the magnaride is a game changer and makes the trucks feel like a wagon. I also have a small trailer I can use so really no need for a truck.
  3. I had a similar noise in my Tahoe and it wound up being the jack not being secured in the compartment.
  4. Pushrod, lifter or valve spring. Luckily you are still under warranty. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  5. I noticed if I was throwing stuff in and out of the bed of my truck it would automatically engage Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  6. Wheels look great. [emoji106] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  7. Good info, i didn't know you could get the eLSD in the tahoe even in the ME. [emoji106] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  8. From my understanding this is not a G80 in the Fullsize suvs. Everyone has seen TFLs offroad video where they could not get both rear tires to spin and 4wheeler said something similar in their 4wd suv of the year test. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  9. This is correct. My 2019 had the same issue and I used a thin sheet of rubber to place between the leaf springs and the noise went away completely. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  10. If you are buying one of these to off road where that piece would get hung up you need to buy something else. With the IRS and a very poor excuse for a LSD ( unless you get the eLsd in the gmc's) these heavy, non articulating suvs will suck. This is coming from someone who owns a z71 tahoe, but I know its very limited in its off road capabilities. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  11. Trade it in, thats how I dealt with the leaking rear window. Values are through the roof right now and you can get some good money for it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  12. Just buy some aftermarket UCA's and be done with it or get a true lift. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  13. I just bought a z71 tahoe with the air / magna ride and yes, it is butter on the highway. Thats exactly how I describe it to everybody I talk to about the ride, butter. Hahaha Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  14. Nice choice. Like any new vehicle issues do happen but I think for the most part these are pretty solid. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks man and likewise. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  16. @econometrics This is one of the best riding fullsizes I have ever driven, it was the main reason I made the switch from my truck to this. I never drove just a magnaride version so I cant speak to that ride but I did drive a regular suspension suburban and this ride is superior. The reliability is a concern but I drive so little and dont keep my vehicles very long (expensive habit, I know) that I didnt let it change my decision. Honestly, everytime I drive the tahoe it confirms my choice and makes me wonder why I didnt just wait and skip the Trail boss all together. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  17. Seems verys high. My dealer just quoted me $2400 for a 6 year 100k miles GMEPP at time of purchase. Go up to 2800 if i did it at a later date. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  18. I did. I found one with the z71 offroad package and bench seat with no panoramic roof or rear entertainment system. I got very lucky, this is the only one I could find in a 500 mile radius with the air, magnaride and max tow. I did the swap now since I figured this would be the best time for highest trade value. Once the 2022s are released with the updated interior I assume our values will go down significantly. Any questions just message me. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  19. Going from a 19 silverado to a 21 tahoe, I will say that the lighting is better in the suvs. You at least get light in the footwell area which helps brighten the whole vehicle. Still bit the greatest but better than the trucks for sure. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  20. Curious to if the 5.3 is gone for good on the TB custom or just didnt get mentioned. I would think the 2.7 is base motor with the 5.3 and 6.2 as options. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  21. Just drove a new tahoe with the 5.3 and 10speed and I was very impressed. I know the tahoe gained some weight but it felt as peppy as my inlaws denali xl with the 6.2 and 8speed. Might lose in a flat out drag race but eh thats not going to happen anyways. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  22. Mess around with the adjustment before you do anything else. I readjusted mine and it made all the difference Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  23. On the summary build sheet for a Suburban LT - Driver and front passenger visors with illuminated mirrors -Include covered mirrors Hopefully someone can confirm that, that is one of my wifes complaints with my TB. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  24. Do it. I am trading in my 19 TB on a suburban diesel in a couple of months and wont look back. If I need the bed capabilities ill buy a flat bed trailer, I have the space to store it so not a big deal. Id get an At4 if they offered the diesel, the Elsd is a big selling point IMO but the diesel is more desirable to me. Paying for a standard color also drives me nuts but whatever. 25. Just remember, those 22" wheels are a $3k option. There has got to be a ton of margin in those so it would be easy for the dealer to discount a portion of that cost. At least thats my assumption. If you took the wheels off the price of the msrp it would be 62k which is what your going to pay with "discounts". But, if these are the wheels you want and everything else is good its not a bad deal at all. Supplier discount averages about $3000 to $3500 off msrp on the tahoes/burbs and thats where you are at.
