  1. what were your ohm readings? I'm thinking mine are going out they barley getting warm after 4 miles of driving
  2. please post a link to the new rubber pads you used
  3. never mind was able to save the pics and turn them around on the computer. I'm wondering if the rear wall is the same on the double cabs ?
  4. so is what you built behind the seat or under it? kind of hard to tell in the pics.
  5. got mine installed today ended using the thicker of the brown/yellow stripe and the gray/green stripe wires while testing i noticed something weird when locked with the door closed window down i was not able to unlock the doors with the button on the door i had to use the key fob this would happen after the interior lights went out and the red dash light was blinking is this some kind of anti theft cause it pretty dumb. i can lock myself in my truck and not be able to use the unlock button ill have to pull the handle twice to get out. i didnt see anything in the manual about this it just seems strange to me.
  6. having the same issues but the only tsb's i have found are only mentioning the 8 speed why would GM fix only the 8 speeds when these issues started with the 6 speeds and no fix for us. my dealer could careless and play the its operating as designed card i don't think down shifts should make passengers lunge foreword but that just me and i get a good bang/clunk right around 30mph up or downshift.
  7. do you by any chance have a link to the tsb where it says not to use grease on newer trucks? my truck is getting worse and worse with the clunking and now vibrating in 4cyl mode but i brought up the fact that they greased my drive shaft and the service writer said they have a TSB that states to grease all nickel plated shafts and they have been doing this for years.
  8. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/161230-v4-to-v8-mode-squeak/
  9. i have this same issue every time i come to a stop the back rest moves foreword and falls back its very slight but very annoying dealer said they couldn't duplicate it i call BS cause it does it at every stop no matter what position the seats in
  10. mines more then a clunk it make anyome in the cab lunge foreword locking there seat belts
  11. i pulled my drive shaft there was grease on it and i took pics. . . for the clunk its the rear end my seat pan has no movement just the back rest part when stopping moves but the clunk is def all rear end i believe there toooo much play in the ring and pinion but they wont look
  12. i have the printout of all the work that was done it states c/s clunk when turning left and right foreword and reverse gease dive shaft. thats what is says on the printout of work completed
  13. im not 100% sure on this that's why im asking but they greased the splines on the yoke im assuming now the TSB iv found only says 2008 or older and at the bottom it states not to use on newer 4x4 cause theres no grease retainer or something like that just didnt know if im going to have issues with contamination with the atf and issues possibly with my t-case. this truck has been nothing but issues and im getting tired of it
  14. so my dealer greased my drive shaft because i complained about clunking when turning left and right foreword andreverse not sure how it would be related but they did it now after doing some reading iv found that they should not have greased my drive shaft that the grease could get into the T-case? is this an issue still and what should i do? Thanks
  15. got mine back last week brought it in for a whole list of issues one of them being vibration they found 2 of the rear tires to have excessive road force. then they used a peco meter to see if the vibrations went away for the most part they seem to have disappeared but i don't do a lot of highway so time will tell. tires are the good year wranglers sr-a. i also just notice i paid an extra 125 to have all terrain tires on my truck according to my window sticker and the wrangler sr-a are not all terain tires they are all season highway tires im not happy with this whole experience with this truck GM really sucks. . .
