  1. Most the trucks on Custom Offsets gallery that ran a 37x12.50 with a 9" McGaughys ran a 20x12 -44 offset. I didn't want my tires sticking out that far so I went with 20x10 -19 offset hoping they won't rub like a -44. Most trucks setup like this only had minor rubbing at full turn. My truck will never be off road so we'll see if it rubs real bad Ill have deal with it I'm cool with trimming the plastic and I was actually planning on taking the lower portion of the valance off altogether. Nor Cal mod is a possibility too but it looks brutal watching them hack the shit out of it. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. I have to laugh when Fuller pulls out a $1 bill.[emoji38] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. Looks like 8" - 8 1/2" to me. That's as big of a lip you'll see anywhere. Badass. And they're forged.??
  4. Thanks bro Your wheels are off the chart. Can't wait to see yours when it's done Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  5. I can't believe I was thinking 4" lift then 6.5" and 8".? If I would have went with anything less than the McGaughys 7"-9" running at 9" w/37's? I would have always regretted it. All I can regret now is not going with a 12" lift and 40's. That's getting carried away though so I know I'm good with this Now that I layed down the $$$$ I'm so glad I went this route. Now just waiting to get install in March. I can't wait to see the build CovetedStyle has going right now. Same lift but extremely blingy?.
  6. Well I'm totally into the big custom builds . Wish my pockets were deep as yours? I'm in AWE. Those wheels are going to look bbbbbadass. What are you getting for tires?
  7. This will wake it up Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. Looks like I bought my stuff a week to early. You have to buy a complete package like I did between noon 12-31 and noon 1-1 and you are entered to win $1000 toward the labor to install your lift/tires. How many wheel/tire, suspension combo sales do they make in a day? I would want to think I would have had a decent chance Maybe one in ten? That would have almost covered the labor on my lift. 9. The pieces are starting to fall into place. Fed ex showed up with my tires/wheels. Packaged up real nice on a pallet. The lift gate came in handy . These bastards weigh a ton. I just saw my gas gas go down while it's parked[emoji857]. So far two thumbs up for Custom Offsets. Tires are fresh. Made in the 43rd week this year. (end of October) I'm really impressed with the wheels too. Nice 3" lip. Not bad for a 20x10. Nice chrome. Look to be easy to maintain. It sucks buying something from a picture on your phone hoping you get what you are hoping for. I wasn't disappointed. I'm going to drop them off at my Ceramic Coating guy later this week and get the wheels done. I never thought I'd drop $3500 just on tires and wheels [emoji848][emoji24][emoji24] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Using the configurator on the Scorpion wheel website I came up with a rendition of a Black Silverado with a 6" lift with my wheels. Not sure of the tire size. Maybe 33s? Think 9" lift and 37's though. My truck will be just short of a foot taller than it is now. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. Big changes. Dec 19th I ordered a lift kit and tires/wheels from Custom Offsets. McGaughys 7"-9" set to 9" with the add a leafs for the rear. 37"x12.50x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Scorpion SC 29 wheels 20x10 -19 offset. The wheels are new this year none on the Custom Offsets gallery. Or anywhere on Google. The tires and wheels are coming Dec 30th. And the lift is supposed to be here later in the week. I scheduled the install at 4 Wheel Parts for March 2. I'm not in too big a hurry it's the dead of winter here in Minnesota. I'll put up some pics of the goods as soon as they arrive [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Should have started this when I bought this truck new a year ago. 2018 Silverado LT Crew cab 6'6" bed 5.3 6spd 3.42 4x4 Its an LT plus so it has almost everything you could get on an All-star LT. No center console, no sunroof, nav. Good enough. First thing I did was Katzkins. Next was Access Tonneau cover and some Go Rhino Stainless steel steps and Bed Rails. Luverne Stainless steel mudflaps. Bed rug bed liner. AVS Aerosheild deflector. Frame plugs. Then I swapped out the reverse lights, license plate lights, and the cargo lights to LED's. Swapped the antenna for a shorter one. Lloyd's carpet mats. Next up I put a Borla S type catback exhaust duals out the back with Stainless steel tips. Of course then I added the Range AFM disabler. Then I had it ceramic coated. After driving it like this for the best part of a year it's time for some changes.... Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  13. Nice car. My oldest daughter just bought the same car. It's a cool grayish color. She loves it. She traded in a 16 Fit so I can see why she loves it.?
  14. Are the gyros better in Greece? One of my favorites. Yeeeros
  15. ? Looks good. HC so much better looking than an LT I thought you were waiting till spring for the lift? What lift is it? Wheels? Tires? Any more pics Jimmy? Inquiring minds want more.?
  16. For the jobs I do these days,( I'm a semi retired Carpenter and only work on the gravy big buck jobs 4-5 days a month. I turn down an average of 3-4 jobs a month, I don't need the money), I'm pretty much in mall crawler mode these days anyways so the spacer part don't really bother me. I might drive 100 miles Monday and not drive again until Thursday 40 miles so it's not like I have a set commute. I'll probably replace the spacer with some King coil overs when my struts are shot down the road. Here's the stats on the truck in the picture...
  17. Well after much debate between me myself and I, I think I want go with the 8" Superlift. There is some trucks that have a little rubbing with the 6.5" with 35's on the Custom Offsets gallery. The ones with 8" and 35's don't rub. I'm not feeling cutting it up nor Cal style to make it fit. I can see pulling the felt back that's it . I like a little clearance Clarence. Plus the 8" w/35's just looks badass if you ask me. Superlift has a 20% off sale thru the end of the month too so I'm looking for this under the ?
  18. It's my daily too. But I don't really so much work out of the bed I tow a 6x14 enclosed cargo trailer for all my tools and whatever I need for the job. Never weighs more than #3500. I first said to myself I'll just level it and put some 33s on and call it good. But then I'm thinking if I do that and it still looks stock like a lot of them do what a waste of time and money. Would a 4" lift be enough for 35s? Not without major surgery. And I'm keeping the 22" factory chrome snowflake wheels no matter what. I kind of decided to go with the 6.5" so I wouldn't second guess myself later. I hate that ?. The 6.5" lift w/35s is all the bigger I want for a daily too. It starts to get to be too much of a hassle to go any bigger IMO.
  19. I sure see lots of Zone 6.5" lifts but not many Superlift . They are close to the same price and I wonder why you would go with the Zone and have steeper angles? Superlift looks to be better choice on paper or am I missing something? I am tossing around the idea of a 6.5" lift and 35s on my factory 22's so I'm all ears.?
  20. Unbelievable. First year driving? Wear the pump out?? This is as bad as the guy wondering about the slide in camper.? Or the air filter thread.
  21. Go with a 2.25" then. Lots of reading material here...
  22. Is it a standard (6' 6") bed? Mine is and has 3 1/2" difference. 36 5/8"front, 40 1/8" rear. The tires will fit with the 2" level no problem.
  23. It's a stupid idea. If I want drive up to a remote area to go fishing or whatever where am I going to recharge it? Plug it into a tree? For someone who actually would use it like a truck for work or whatever put 750- 1000 miles a week on it what's their electric bill going to look like? Big buck I'd bet. Probably have to upgrade your electric supply if you have less than a 100 amp service too, more money. ( Any Electrician care to chime in on this?) Not to mention the power plants now have to burn more coal or natural gas to make more electricity to charge all these new vehicles. How good are these going to be when it's -25F degrees in the dead of winter? What are they going to do with all batteries when they are shot and need to be replaced. Talk about an environmental disaster. Also how much are replacement batteries? A Prius is around 3 grand from what I hear although they are supposed to last over 200,000 miles. I could go on and on. Dumb with a capital D. I bet they will be hideous looking too.??
  24. No thanks.
