  1. What Jim said it likely true but then again....... If you made cut outs in the bull bar to house the sensors, I don't see what calibration would be needed. They will be exactly the distance out that the bull bar is, making IT your first point of contact. I'd imagine you could get away with just moving the two located behind the bar? PS Where did you get that bar/light? Looks sweet and I don't have sensors to worry about
  2. Exactly... WAMS does the best customization (including nixxing the speed limiter) but I know he's been having trouble getting the product out. I wouldn't pay a dollar for Pulsar personally
  3. The Pulsar seems to be a piggyback system and very limited. I'm waiting for WAMS to come back in stock. Tons more can be done
  4. Just to be clear, the price is NOT a case of beer etc right now. I was referring to my old vehicles (eg 2000 Trans Am) where pricing wasn't bad because the ECM was unlocked. There is ONE company that can handle this, HP Tuners. They are based out of Buffalo Grove IL https://www.hptuners.com/ It's going to cost you over a grand to unlock the ECM. Then, you will need to pick a speed shop to do your tuning. I have used Speed Inc (https://www.speedinc.com/) for my tuning in the past but not sure how good they are with these new rigs
  5. FWIW ....6.2 that was shown above had a broken valve spring. That was not a "collapsed lifter" as they said.
  6. Not keen on the yellows. That super dark blue looks like something I'd pay an extra grand for though
  7. Can you take a video of this? The DIC screen displays something along the lines of "turn steering wheel"?
  8. Is this for a 19/20 model or the one in your sig (2016)?
  9. That's freaking SICK. WANT!
  10. Here ya go.. courtesy of @SquireSCA
  11. There's a vijayo around here somewhere of a guy that took it on a decently long excursion... let me see if I can find it
  12. A country and rock combo wouldn't be bad either. Jamey Johnson - In Color has a surprisingly loud base sweep in it
  13. You doing the install? Post a song before/after vid? Would be cool to compare IMHO
  14. +1 Let'r rip. With it being this new, you'll be all set if things go sideways (highly unlikely)
  15. Not knocking the 5.3. It's a durable engine to say the least but drive them side by side like I did (several times) or just take a look at the numbers. The 5.3 w a 10 speed does a mid-15 second 1/4 while my 6.2 hits 13.9. Even high up in the mountains, TFL put the 5.3 at 9.46 0-60 with the 6.2 doing it in 7.7. If OP has done what I have and wants that smash your head into the headrest feel.. wait it out, they will be built again.
  16. Sadly I must agree. Especially on black. I do the touchless when I can't hand wash but I keep trying brushed systems in HOPES one day to find one that doesn't scratch. On a tangent, just replaced my Portal-Cable DA (7424XP) with a Milwaukee 2738 buffer. Having it cordless and non-DA should be able to de-swirl much faster now
  17. I agree to an extent....... I have been through dozens of touchless washes over the years. Some nice and new, some old and ratty. 99.99% of them do exactly what you mention. That said, the local touchless here will bring my truck with 1/4" of salt on it to shining like new. I think it's in part because I keep her waxed and in part the quality of the water used. I don't get the haze I do with most washes. I mean, even the windshield is clean from side to side/top to bottom. No haze where the wipers don't hit. Moral of the story.. not all touchless washes are the same
  18. Definitely a FRAM filter and Walmart branded vegetable oil. Personally plan on an AC Delco and Mob 1 oil
  19. I'd need to wait for it to go back on sale for the 20% off as that is the everyday price here: https://www.shopchevyparts.com/electronics/2020-silverado-1500-audio-upgrade-kickerreg-powered-subwoofer-kit-crew-cab-amp-extended-cab/19417164-p-92305764.html
  20. Totallllllly get it. Was just reading the install instructions and includes chopping the carpet and the rubber floor mats I might just have it done myself lol
  21. So it doesn't appear anything has changed programming-wise? eg, a selection for the sub on/off or level? I have zero issues installing as it seems plug n play but if I do the work and find out they're going to charge me to flash the H/U anyway......
  22. Was about to pull the trigger on "ShopChevyParts" but then I noticed that the GM site mentioned "programming needed"--->Yes ShopChevy is significantly cheaper than GM accessories but will I end up getting dinged at the stealership for going out and buying it at a 3rd party? ie, end up paying the difference to have them program for it?
  23. I don't have this feature (ie memory seats) but I would "hope" it didn't effect that? It was around long before the profiles on the radio existed
