  1. If there's too much current draw it will cause the lights to flash 3 times then go off. That's why you need a relay and power from the 12V+ from the trailer harness or direct from the battery.
  2. I haven't seen anyone mention replacing the switch bank above the power port. From the factory there is a button that turns on and off the 110v outlet. You would need that and a BCM flash to enable it. Good luck getting a dealer to do that. Hell, they want $150 to enable the GM fog light kit for my truck after I installed it MYSELF! It came with a code which I thought was part of the high price of the kit meaning that the BCM flash was included in the cost of the kit. NOPE! It's just an Authorization code to say, yes this is a GM kit and you're allowed to flash the BCM for the customer and charge them for it. They'll probably tell you it voids your warranty too since it wasn't a factory option or a GM accessories add on kit.
  3. It shouldn't be unless you had it off the vehicle and installed it the wrong way. The links are WAY too far forward so either the bar is installed wrong or the links are installed incorrectly.
  4. You didn't follow step 37 in the instructions(picture 30) 37. Attach the lower strut mount to the lower control arm using the supplied 10mm x 65mm, washers, and nylock nuts. Bolts will go in from the top. See Photo 30.
  5. It's been here for a few months now.
  6. You didn't order the squatted kit? LOL I can't believe they were that dumb! I would get it fixed ASAP as you might be riding on the internal jounce bumpers on the shocks and it can wind up blowing the seals out.
  7. You need to wire in a relay and use the reverse wire as the trigger to the relay. I pulled power from the trailer wire as that is the only wire active when a trailer isn't hooked up.
  8. It SHOULD come with the instructions, but I know some parts just say ask dealer for document BLAHBLAHBLAH for install instructions. My fogs came with the instructions and the code. The problem is the dealer wanted to charge at least $150 to ACTIVATE the fogs, even though I had installed the kit myself and all I needed them to do was activate it in the BCM. I thought the whole point of the code and paying out the nose for the GM kit was that that cost INCLUDED the BCM update to enable them. It pissed me off so I used a diode to jump the parking light trigger to the fog light trigger so the fogs come on and stay on any time the parking lights are on.
  9. White wheels aren't all they're cut out to be. I bought a set of white 97 SS Camaro wheels for my 02 Black Camaro SS to use as drag wheels. They stand out but not really what I was hoping it would look like.
  10. I had been a Costco member and would buy 6 quart boxes when they would have the rebate on them and then I would buy a 5 quart jug usually from Walmart as they were a buck or two cheaper than other stores. I'm not a Costco member anymore and I'm not paying $50+ for a 6 quart box when a 5 quart jug is currently just under $30. I saw that Mobil sells 12 quart bulk pack boxes with a spout for about $60. I think I'll be picking one of those up for my next oil change.
  11. I picked this up about a month and a half ago and seems to work good so far. I was originally interested in the Motorola wireless Android auto dongle, but they were hard to find, and reviews said that there was no way to update the device. The AAWireless module is update-able so hopefully it won't be a useless brick in a couple years. https://www.aawireless.io/
  12. 1) You don't have to remove the rug unless you want to 2) I can't remember for sure but I think the hook side is what sticks to the bed. It's been years since I had one. 3) NO. It is polypropylene and closed cell foam so it doesn't absorb water. It's essentially marine grade carpet. https://bedrug.com/why-choose-bedrug
  13. Don't forget the screen as well. They are separate parts. The screen can get clogged and cause false readings.
  14. I thought LTZs had the HID LED headlights with LED turn signals.
  15. 33" is the DIAMETER, not the width. 275mm is the WIDTH. 275/60/20 is a 33" tall tire.
  16. Why do a 6" lift with only 33's when the stock size is 33"?
  17. Any reason you're set on a Whipple? Long ways from you, but someone I would trust to get it right: https://www.lingenfelter.com/magnuson-gm-di-5.3-6.2l-truck-intercooled-supercharger-package-2019-newer
  18. I thought you could only get the 4 banger in the regular cab version. They went to all the trouble of sourcing AT4 interior components but left the base model urethane wheel?
  19. Not hubcentric. They are billet ones with exact bolt patterns on ebay. They have 6x137.9 and 6x135(Ford pattern) both. They are way better than the cast slip fit White Knight brand I had picked up from AutoZone as a temporary pair to get the wheels on.
  20. You're better off trading for a truck that has it. It requires having keyless start to make it work. That's a whole other level of complexity that I'm sure is expensive and way beyond worth the hassle.
  21. That's odd in the refresh they removed the wiring up there. Just an auto dim mirror is cake to wire. Just run power to a switched fused circuit and ground. There's a 3rd wire, usually green, that is for the reverse light circuit so it turns off dimming when in reverse, but it's not a requirement to be used. I've retrofitted several of my older vehicles with auto dim mirrors. The video thing is a whole different animal. You can buy rearviews with displays in them and you'd have to add aftermarket cameras if that's what you want.
  22. If you want wider you can go 20x10 -12mm offset. I have a set of LRG Rims on my truck in that size. I had to add a 5 mm spacer to clear the caliper bump so it's actually -17 offset. I'm running 275/60/20 on a stock Trail Boss. I had a set of 275/65/20 for a couple days and it rubbed on both sides on the felt of the rear part of the fenderwell.
  23. Why didn't you use the OEM heated seat fuse instead of the heated steering wheel?
  24. I bought a used Avalanche that had Pro Comp chrome wheels on it and they leaked due to corrosion from salt. They were corroded around the bead and the valve stem as well as severe pitting on all 4 wheels. Take care of them if you get them, or get some peel coat and spray them to keep the chrome protected.
  25. Why buy spacers instead of 0 or negative offset wheels to get the look/fitment you want?
