Cool That's the least GM should do for you. This should be offered no questions to ALL effected trucks that fit into the TSB date range.. Unfortunately I made it by just days with a build date of 3/21/21.
I would love to see GM respond with at least a 100k mile drive train warranty to those effected. I don't see GM doing anything but fixing the ones that fail under warranty. A lawsuit will take years to migrate through the system and the engines/owners effected will have cycled through by the time its over.
Its my understanding As long as your driving in one gear under the highest you have using L? the cylinder cancellation does not activate. I use L9 under 70mph.
Not all dealers are = I bought mime about 50 miles away as the dealership only 5 miles away who I have used for over 10 years, told me as I did not let them find the truck and did not buy from them they would not do any service on it. I called GM they could care less!!!
Be sure verify what options are going to be available, and get it in writing that you have the option to refuse and get your deposit back if the ones you ordered are not at time of delivery.
Take a small die grinder and cut a slot across the top than use a dull or flat (so you don't cut the bolt head) chisel to loosen it working from side to side with small easy hits. of coarse use common sense and cover everything form the sparks.
I had bought a 3rd fob for my 1st 2021 it was totaled but I kept the fob hoping to use it when I got another. After getting a new truck I went to the dealer with the third fob, as someone above said it stores the first Vin# in the fob so can never be used again. No way to clear it.
Thank you, Just cleaned them good and put ceramic coat on them all the chrome and lights. Waited 3 days and did a 2nd coat than waxed with a non-cleaner wax.
Love this color up close
So true, I've just been removing the ball as soon as I'm done with it. I have seen a kit you can add that stops the inside from opening when the hitch is in.
Mine is the same, Its just a heavy tail gate. I have also found when the small inside part is down you have to hold down on the outer gate to close it before closing the entire gate if not its a bear to close.
