Another Cam Question

hey everyone i have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3 and im going to put a cam in it but have been looking everywhere for info on it. i have found alot but still undecied on one. i have shorty headers, 05 fan converstion, power-programmed, and a kn intake. my truck have a 6in lift with 35's. i want a cam to get me more hp but i dont want to put a stall converter in. what do you think would be the best cam for me. iv been lookin at the comp cams xfi truck cams but i know there mite be beter ones out there. any help would be greatly apprecated.

When I was looking for a cam for my GTO, I decided to contact a respected cam manufacturer. I wrote up a document that stated my goals, future mod plans, and anything else I could toss in. In the end, I received a cam that I'm very, very pleased with.

 

I checked the rules, and didn't see anything prohibithing this, so I'll tell you where I got it. From a guy named Ed Curtis, owner of Flowtech Inductions. He's impossible to get ahold of on the phone, and very busy, but if you are patient I'd bet he'll give you a cam that will meet your goals.
