brims Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Awesome product. Anyone looking to bleed their own brakes, I would highly recommend this tool. You can get a a more universal adapter, or an adapter for your specific type of master cylinder in plastic or some in aluminum (for a couple bucks more). I've only bled brakes a couple times before, 2 people with 1 in the vehicle and 1 at the wheel cylinders yelling "open" "closed". What a PITA that was. With the Power Bleeder you put the adapter on, pump it up, then go to the wheel cylinders and open the bleed screws one at a time. And to think I was going to buy the compressor operated vacuum bleeder from MityVac for over double the cost. I use a hand operated vacuum pump to suck the old fluid out of the master cylinder before I bleed just to make things go a little faster.
