Best Ipod Interface Kit

Hi, i want to buy an ipod interface ofr my 08Silverado.. SO I'm asking it to anybody here who has purchased these kits..?

what one is the best?

 

I'm tired of having the over-plug on my dash.. and i want a sollution, and also the best sound quality option!..

A couple of questions that may come up, so I'll ask 'em now..

 

Does your truck have the GM Nav system installed? If so, do you plan to stick with it?

No, I have the OEM 1-CD(mp3 support) player... no nav sys here..

I just use the old fashion green audio cable into the AUX port on my stereo. Its easy and less complicated plus it sounds decent!

gunna say, best solution is to buy an aftermarket radio. much better sound quality and on most models you can plug ur ipod in through the usb chord that came with it so you control the ipod through the radio and it charges your ipod at the same time. win win in my book. i got everything out the door from bestbuy for 200 bucks. best investment.

sory, I don't live in USA, so I cannot call crutchfiel to support.. so what i can do is know here the best, and order it from amazon!

If you do NOT have the OEM NAV, you can get the GM "PAL" setup -- the Personal Audio Link works very nicely on the non-NAV stock radios. It doesn't work with NAV though.

 

I actually have a PAL setup that is as-new I bought just before I decided to upgrade to the NAV unit, that I now can't use. I just haven't gotten around to listing it for sale but if anyone is interested, I'll part with it gladly.

That's the kit I've been looking at for my truck with factory NAV as well... glad to hear some positive reviews!

 

I am waiting on a PM response regarding my GM PAL, so at this point sale is pending.
