07nbs Interior Lighting

i have a 2007 nbs extended cab sle1 sierra with dic. the other day the driver side headlight went out. i finally found a replacement bulb(walmart doesn't have em). after replacing the headlight bulb i noticed my interior lights were out. i turned them on with the knob on the dash and they worked. but will not work when the doors are open or when you lock or unlock the truck whith the remote. any ideas whats wrong

There's a small dome override button directly underneath the knob you use to dim the interior lights. In fact, it looks like part of the bezel for the dimmer. Make sure that is not pressed in. That will keep your dome lights from coming on when your doors are open.

 

I am assuming by NBS you mean the GMT900.

that was easy enough, i find it amazing that i have had the truck for 2.5 yrs and have never seen it. especially since i use the driving light switch underneath it every night

Hi guys---I have a 2000 Savana conversion van which will not turn off the dome lights. Not with the override or the doors. I can manually turn them off, but that still leaves the little light for the step on, and that left me stalled with a dead battery yesterday.

 

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
