Need Alarm For 2009 Gmc Sierra

I did a search here on the forum, but everything that came up were posts for aftermarket alarms.

According to the dealer my truck is prewired for OEM alarm. However they were asking $600 for the module and installation. JEZZ.. $600....I just about flipped out.

Where can I find an alarm w/shock sensor for my truck? Remember I want to be able to use my Factory "OEM" key FOBs to activate alarm functions.

I checked GMpartsdirect.com but wasn't able to locate what i was lokking for.

Thanks

DEI has/used to have a system that worked with the factory key fobs. I thought it had been discontinued, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Here are 3 from Viper which sound like they'll do what you want.

I think you'll want the 3903V for the "high speed" CAN system.

Thanks for the links.

Something I'll consider if I can't find one that is more OEM.

Just curious, but why is OEM so important? The stuff out there made by Clifford and some of the other big alarm/remote start companies are far superior and offer more features and the FOB they give you will work 10 times better then the factory FOB
