Another Okie With Questions

I just bought a 2006 2500hd chevy ext cab lwb for my light construction business and it has 129000 miles! It is clean as a whistle and is one owner with LT trim. I will post pics or put it on my signature like you all have, but I have to figure that out one of these days!

 

Question: What do I need to service on this truck? Tranny, differential, plugs, wheel bearings, u-joints?

I notice a little oil residue on the tranny output shaft and the differential too.

 

I am not new to chevys, but have not ever owned a 6.0. It appears to be bone stock all around, which is what I want. I sold a 96 c2500 ext. lwb with 350 auto and loved it. (184000 miles!)

First off welcome fellow Okie!

 

First piece of advice from me is....Watch your oil consumption. The 6.0's like to burn it a bit. Not like the old 400's did...But they'll be a quart low at oil change time every now and then.
