Dash kits are usually applied with some adhesive and it is a B***h to take off! When you do get the kit off, the next problem is taking the old glue off. I have seen a lot of dashes get ruined because of this so be careful!!

The factory wood trim snaps in place. There is no glue. I just used a small screwdriver to pop the pieces off.

Awesome thanks for the info. Did you go with brushed aluminum or something else?
