Looking for a 88-98 body style Chevy/GMC 2 wd drive truck. I have a SBC drive train that I would like to use, also have an extra cab, body parts in case you have a rolling dually chassis. In a nutshell looking for a project truck.

  ...was looking to see what the 3 post OP had to say since they've got a personal issue here and 3 different threads they made within the same time period...just today....and then regurgitating that some owners on facebook and other forums have issues which is a small number out of total ownership of 3.0 Duramaxes.

  Just a guess based on the mentions I've seen on this forum... Failing coolant control valves (LM2, LZ0) No start / long crank issues (LM2) Thrust bearing failures (LZ0) Timing chain failures (LM2) Fingers crossed GM has more revisions and updates in the work because the 3.0 is awesome (when it can be trusted).
