2007-2008 Sierra Denali Lift Kits

I have read that you cant put lift kits on the 07-08 Sierra Denali AWD's? is this true? i have seen some pics of Sierra Denali's lifted but would this be the 2WD? Please give me any info you can on lifting the All Wheel Drive Sierra Denali......thanks.
