Floor Mats For Rubberized Vinyl Cab Floors

I just bought a 2009 Sierra with the work truck trim. It has rubberized vinyl floors all around. No pblm there.

 

I'm shopping for floor mats and so far all the styles I've seen have thousands of tiny plastic teeth on the undersides. I can't take one out of the store and test it without buying it, so I'm asking here if anyone has any experience with that style on that kind of vinyl floor. It seems to me the mat would slide all around the floor. If that's been your experience, too, have you done anything to anchor the mat, like maybe putting pieces of 2-sided tape on it or maybe velcro?

I bought the Husky brand Heavy duty rubber mats from cabelas and they do not slip on my floor of my work truck. The little teeth on the back side are rubber not plastic so they grip pretty well. Good luck!

Or....Buy whatever mats you like, and do what I did back when I had rubber floors.

 

Poke a couple of small holes in the back end of the mats, and loop a piece of wire through it and around your seat mounts. They don't move.

I have the same problem. I just bought a 2007 silverado and I don't know what to buy. Let me know what you end up buying and if they work.

I have an '08 with the vinyl/rubber floor (LS trim or what they used to call W/T) --- Anyways, the regular mats you get everywhere (with little rubber nubs) have worked fine on mine. I tend to buy those that are made of slightly better rubber and the nubs bend/give against the rubber floor just fine. They might slide a little over a month - but not notably as you enter / exit the truck or while driving. I'm not sure the cheap <$10 mats that are thinner, harder plastic would stay put, but the regular priced rubber ones do fine. You could always take some scissors and shorten the tips of each nub. (I'd need a beer in the other hand to sit there and mess with that...)
