General Maintence Question

I have on 2006 2500hd 4wd w/ 70k. I plan to change the F & R shocks. Th truck was used hard in a well digging buisness, hauling alot of heavy equiptment. When I bought the truck it was encased in mud. Is there anything that could be done preventively as general maintence while doing the shocks. I plan to grease the fittings, Anyone have a list of all area needing grease??\

Would it be necassary to grease or repack the front hub? Change wheel bearings?

Thanks

If the ball joints,u-joints are original, probably no fittings. If those parts have been replaced, then they can have fittings. Steering shaft to steering box has been known to need grease or it can make noises. I'd check on the condition of all the fluids[ transmission, front and rear diffs] if has towed or hauled hard. plowking
