Kind of a weird question but my 09 Sierra has remote start and dual climate control, with heated seats. Now the manual states that if I remote start my truck it will use the outside temperature to determine if hot it runs the AC or cold it runs the heat and turns on heated seats. My question is, how cold does it have to be to register for the heat? The last couple nights here have been in low 40s and it never seems to kick to the heat. I can't see anything on the display until I put my key in but then it reverts to the last setting. Today however it was 36 and it sounded like the heat was kicking on and my passenger heated seats turned on full force. I saw the driver's side seats light up then went out but the passenger stated on. Is it possible I have some programing issues with my truck? Any help would be great thanks.
