Rear Park Assist

I have the Rear Parking Assist on my truck. The sensors are on the vertical face of the rear bumper. I want to install a cap to the trailer hitch to keep it clean, but I am wondering if it will interfer with the sensors. I had a class 3 hitch towing bar installed that sticks out 6" and the assist turned inself off. I have that on to keep the tailgaters back. If they hit the back of my truck, it will puncture their rad, like a can opener, keeps them well back.

Never mind, I bought a cover for the hitch, and the rear park assist still works.
