Air Conditioner Leaking Inside Truck

I noticed on a couple of long drives here in Louisiana (hot and very humid ) with the A/C on for 3 hours straight, water starts to leak from the center of the dash onto the floorboard. Is this common on the gmt series? Should I bring it into the dealer or try to fix it myself? It's very aggravating to have your shoes soaked because of water dripping from the dash board.

Sounds like the drain may be blocked up or something. This is the first I've heard of this issue, I'd take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty.

poping an old thread , but i do have this problem on my 2010. Any solution ?

Check your drain for the evaporator.

I have seen mud wasps start a home in the drain and plugging it. Pertty sure yours is plugged. No other reason for a leak unless the plastic housing is cracked.

I had an '89 Jeep that had the same problem. It turned out the drain hose wasn't routed correctly and was kinked a few inches on the engine side of the firewall. I crawled under and found it and gave it a tug and got drenched. No problems after that.

Too funny. I thought I was the only one that got soaked like that. Had a Tacoma and I stuck a pencil in the tube to break the mud and ended up with a wet shirt.
