Vacuum Acuators

99 sierra 2500 but it's one of the crossovers so I basically have a late 98 c/k model. I need to know where the vacuum actuators are so I can see which ones aren't working cause my heat is only going through the main vents and not changing to feet or defrost.

let me try to rephrase what I'm trying to do. I know it's all electrical it's just that I need to know if power is getting to the doors or if the doors that change the vents need to be replaced. I know there's one underneath the driver side of the dash but that just changes the air to the side vents on the dash. I need the one that changes the air to the defrost vents.

I believe you are referring to the "blend door actuator". These are a common problem, but I cannot tell you where to find it. From what I have heard, it's not a pleasant experience to work with.

Blend door actuators does sound more correct. I know they're not easy to get to, but then again I don't feel like spending the money for my mechanic to get to them and fix a problem that I could do.
