Rear Window Seal

I have recently noticed that I am hearing more road noise than normal. I think I have tracked it down to the side window on the third door. It doesn't seam to seal as tight as it should. Is there a way to adjust the latch?

Get your self a tube of Dow Corning 55 o-ring lubricant and lightly spread it on the old gasket. It will re-moisten the seal and make it swell up so the window seals properly again, as long as its not too far gone.

As the seals age they get squished and become dry. if they get too dry they crack and you have to replace them. I use the Dow Corning 55 on all my door and glass seals. Keeps them looking new and sealing properly for a long time. We actually use the same stuff on all our weather proof boxes on the Warships to do the same with the rubber gaskets.

Thanks for the response. I will try the O ring conditioner first, if that doesnt work, I am off to Ebay for the new assembly!
