Hard Shift Into 3rd

I have a 2007 2500HD 4x4 6.0 with 6 speed auto Trans. 1-2 are smooth and then into 3rd it actually revs up and then slams into 3rd very nice the rest of the way. I have 34,000. Please help!!!!

you still got warranty???

If yes bring it in.

 

If not it sounds like a valve body or bad clutch issue.

Mine does the same thing. Worse under a quick acceleration.

these are new to the fleet and I have never worked on them but there is 5 yr warranty on it and I suggest take it in,

 

please DO NOT change the oil and filter as it will do nothing to repair a mechanical concern.

 

trannies are not suppost to rev up and slam into gear ,

 

drive it straight to the dealer,its done
