Bfg A/t Ko's Or Nitto Terra Grapplers?

Hey guys, I need new tires for my truck. I went to NTB and checked out a set of BFG All Terrain T/A KO's in a 265/75R16 load range E. $946 out the door with road hazard, mounted, balanced, new stems. Now they also showed me a set of the Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain's in the same size, load range E. $806 with all the same stuff. NTB actually rated the Nitto's better than the BFG's as far as wear. I've never ran Nitto's, just wondering what you all think about this. I've had 4 sets of the BFG's on a few trucks, and always had good luck with them. What do you think about this? Right now I'm running the Michelin LTX M/S. It's been a good tire, but it doesn't do well in the snow. Do any of you run these Nitto's? Need your input. Thanks.

I was gonna run the Nitto's on my truck. They are a fairly quiet tire, excellent wear and traction in wet, dry, and snow. every truck at my local tire shop runs them, and some of them are 5 year old tires with over 100K Km on them. We had a big dump of snow last year, which is actually weird for where I live, and even the old tires bit right in to it.

They are a square Tire, meaning the thread is the same width as the sidewall. This makes them look better than the BFG IMO.

The only reason I went with the LTX over the Nitto's was for comfort and noise level. Like I said, we don't get a lot of snow, and the LTX's ride like a dream on the highway.

I have run both Nitto and BFG, and for the money, I would go with Nitto. I have zero complaints with mine and will likely run them again. Nittos run more true to size as well. BFG's typically run a little small.

+1

I currently have the bfg's on my truck but for the money I would get the nitto's. Only reason I didn't get the nitto's was because I like the white letters of the BFG's.

I have owned both nittos and bfgs and I think they are both great tires and do about the same for performance. My dad had a set on his truck for 55,000 miles and gave them to me and I think I can get 10,000 more out of them.
