I know it will give my hp and trq gains but will it kill my fuel econemy?

I know stage 1 helps and stage 2 uses more expensive gas. just wondering if it kills your fuel econemy

It will give you more power and torque. But my guess would be it wouldn't hurt your fuel economy. Every programmer or chip I have installed has always given me better fuel economy. I've gone to bigger fuel injectors, 80mm throttle body, superchips tune and it just gets better. The engine is making more power yes. But its still electronic fuel injection. The computer will maintain your AFR ratio's. I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

It won't kill your mileage, but will require you to run 91 or better octane gas.

 

I had Stage 2 on my S10 and liked it. I combined it with B&M electronic shift controller and it was a nice combination.
