I also suggest doing a search as this is by far the #1 topic on this forum.

I have been searching this topic all day. No direct answers. I have 265-65-18 on a 2009. I want to put 285-65-18 on the truck. Will they fit with no leveling kit or other type of lift? I know they will fit on a NBS and an OBS as I had them on both. I am not sure if they will fit the NNBS with no lift.

Nope, won't fit. I have 285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my truck with a 2-1/2" Truxxx level Lift and mine rub at full lock while backing up.

Thanks..Your rims are awesome. Do you think their offset affects that. I have the stock 18s. Maybe I will go to 275/65/18 instead.

Thanks. Stick with the 265s. My wheels have the same offset as stock.

I am going with a 265 next time around. These tires are too damn heavy. Nearly all A/T tires in 18" sizes are load E range.

I have 33" dia X 11.5" tires on my 2008 on stock 17-7.5 rims. They don't rub at all.

My tires are Toyo Open Country A/T's, 285-70/17. The actual spec diameter is 32.7" My truck is only raised about 5/8" in the front. I don't think it makes any difference. Other members are running the same size tires without any lift and have not rubbing issues.

Whether or not this size tire rubs is highly dependent on the wheel width and offset. It looks to me like if the wheels stuck out further than my OEM wheels, the tires would rub on the tread when at the steering lock. If they went further inboard, they would rub on the inside of the well on the tread or sidewall.

I have 275 65 18's and they dont rub ....just alittle wider and just alittle taller. I am getting that size in Buckshot Mudders next week. Im getting them mounted and balanced, 171 a tire.

I'm running 285/65/18's with a 2" rough country lift in the front and the rub just a little at full lock backing up. Mainly on approaches
