mids and highs in the gm trucks. I want to keep my stock headunit and get a good 2 or 4 channel amp so I can run a set of cerwin vega components. Are there any good ones for around $150??? Thanks,

love the multichannel amps. Autotek SX5750 5 channel amp.

for $150 dollars, it could be done, just dont know how good it would be. may save a little bit if you can, i'll see if i can find anything decent for you in that price range. (dont have much else to do other english stuff)

if you really shopped around, you probably could find a good brand for around that price. competition between stores is sooo much someone will have a decent sale.

I have what I guess you could call a bastage setup. LOL

Pioneer 1.5 DIN HU

Pioneer 1767 3 ways in the front

Infinity 462.3 2 ways in the rear doors

JL Audio 10w3D2 sub in a homemade MDF box under rear drivers side seat firing into the floor

and a Kenwood 848 50x4 amp

The front door speakers are run off of 2 channels

and the sub is run off of 2 channels.

The rear door speakers are run off of the HU.  They

just fill the space anyway.  4x6's cannot handle any

amplified power, cleanly(IMO anyway).

if you run 4x6 plates, or 4" components in the rear you can amp them like the bigger sets. my DEI studio set in the rear came with a 4x6 adapter plate. so i get the great sound of components in a 4x6 spot.

Well I got a JBL p-80.4 to run a cerwin vega 6.5 component set that are going in the front doors. I already have a RS series Bazooka 8" installed. I'm going to keep he stock head unit b/c I bought an indash 6 disk changer out of a denali.  I'm going to try and install all of this this weekend :D
