Extended Warranties

I bought the GM full extended warranty on my 2004 Silverado 2500 HD that will expire next September.

Has anyone purchased and used any outside warranty programs or can you extend the GM plan, I only have 20.000 miles on the truck.

I *think* you can extend the GMPP warranty again; you'll want to consult your dealer for details on it.

from what i hear, GMPP is the only way to go. My dad has worked at several GM dealerships over the years and that is at least his opinion. Hope that helps.

It can be extended according to GM's website. I have used the hell out of my Extended Warranty and really not for anything that crazy. Just nick pick my way back to a new truck. Almost gonna cry when I sell it for a 2010.

 

GMPP all the way. I have never paid for anything covered under warranty GMPP or otherwise.

Interesting. I have another thread asking some basic questions. Did you chose a premium package to skip the deductable ? They seem to want to hit me with $250 or $300 every time you hit them.
