I get an email at work today from the dept of engineering at school.  Seems they are changing the time of my ME325 systems class to later in the day.  Did they happen to notice there is an ME320 Lab at that time?  &^#%#*# Idiots.  Everyone in the 325 class will be in the 320 lab and the 320 class is more important.

Now this will put me a little more behind.  Im about to open up some captain insano WHOOP A$$

I've ran through this several times, including this semester.  I've found that different advisors working on your schedule doesn't work.  I would continue to complain.  It worked for me.

I was in ME at Louisiana Tech, in Ruston,La.  The ME professors were great, but the Administrative junk is hard to deal.  One quarter (not a semester system), on of my profs was scheduled to be in two classes at the same time!!!  They happened to be down the hall from each other, and it was a mess.  Needless to say he/we were all flustered!

Where are you being educated RyanbabZ71????

Its great right down the street from me.  Costs about 10K less a yr than going away.  Family work and everything is here.

Looks cool Ryan, I lived in Indy for a while (Carmel, IN just outside of Indianapolis).

Loved the place, and would have gone to Purdue or Indiana U.  Both nice schools.

Ryan,

Since I work at a university, I see alot of bonehead moves. Unfortunately, alot of professors frown on the term "customer service." Evidently, it makes them feel like they are actually employees of the schools. Not that there is not a majority of professors that actually care that their students are taken care of and helped to graduate on time, but they can be bullheaded.

Just remain cool-headed and reasonable, but make sure that this could a) delay your graduation and b) increase your debt load. If you (or even better, several people) have to work your way up the ladder, somebody will recognize the importance of those two factors.

I hope you get it cleared up without going up the ladder, though.

Luckily, that stuff is behind me now. Just passed my oral comps, paid my bill and will graduate in a week.

I got pretty lucky when they changed my schedule for this semester.  They just moved one class to a different time and there were no conflicts.  I even had my adviser allow me to take 19 credit hours (you have to get special permission for over 18, and it is rarely granted), so I wouldn't have to come back for an extra semster.  He just pushed it through without anybody noticing.  I just hope I don't pay for this down the road....

get this i got dropped (along with 4 others) from the class.  Now there are only 3 people taking this class.

WOOHOO i think i have WON.  My constant nagging B%^#*# and complaing has done good.  I found out from an ME teacher that he spoke to the dept head and they are changing the time back because more than half we affected.

IT FEELS SO GOOD TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!
