1993 K1500 4wd Actuator Upgrade Harness Hookup

I purchased the upgraded actuator and wiring harness from GM for my 93 K1500 pickup and have patched the extra brown wire to the brown wire at the trasfer case switch. The actuator does not engage 4WD at all. I have installed the extra spacer and check ed the fuse. Any ideas how I can trouble shoot this frustrating problem? :thumbs:
