S10 Rear Tailgate Lock Cylinder Help Needed

the lock cylinder for my rear glass and tail gate on my 84 s10 blazer refuses to lock . i put key in and the handle still turns but refuses to lock . what do i need to look for inside the tail gate to fix it? or do i need a whole new tailgate/glass release handle?

Hey Ross, Hope your better in your living issues you had before. Have you taken the lock cylinder out to see if the release lever or such is broken? Sounds like the cylinder itself is kaput thou.

no because i wasn't sure how to get the lock cylinder out dose it have the clips like the front doors do? living situation isa bit better still trying to get back on my feet fully
