Nytemare Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Whats above an EPIC FAIL....cause that's what that was.
ryan_hermanutz Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I might have been easier to take it to the local tires shop. But I bet he didn't have the money too, so cutting off the wheel was a better idea
minibike132 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Awesome!!! The best part of it isn't that he did it, it was that he was proud enough of himself to post pictures including a partial face pic. EDIT: The best part is the quote in his signature line. jrod332 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 WOW!!!!!! I've had a frozen lug before, but I would never let it get that far.
Nytemare Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Some guy was in the top 10 last year for the Darwin Awards for trying to shoot his off with a 12 Ga. Who knew...those little balls of shot in there ricochet everywhere. I like the bit about braking the tap off....LOL...he's all let down cause it was Titanium... Best part was if he went into a shop they would have had it out in about 30 sec. Hell we used to just weld an old lug onto those stupid locking bolts with the big fancy key...a couple quick tacks with a stick in the center of an old lug, let it cool and spin the lock right out...it didn't even damage the wheel, and the heat of the weld would loosen the frozen bolt for the most part.
thearborbarber Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I dont think I would have said anything?
TheTrueMoron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 The guys at the tire shop stripped the back of the lugs on one of my rear axles a while back. Luckily, they fixed it on their tab but the backspacing on one of the wheels isn't the same as the other 3...
