2003 Sierra Pitman Arm And Ider Arm Replacement

Hi guys, I want to change my pitman arm and Idler arm. What are the best tools to use to remove them? Any links? I also found out there are 3 slot and 4 slot pitman arms. Is there any way to find out which type I have or do I need to remove the nut? I don't want to climb under there unless necessary...lol

Its a the best one because it has the highest capacity and also provide a good speed for driving.

My pitman's been worn for awhile. Finally thought about doing the replacement, and found out about the different slots.

 

Really would rather have the part on hand before disassembly as it's my daily driver.

 

Any way to tell before pulling it?

Buy both of them, use the one you need and take back the other....
