New Tires On!

Well i did it, went with 275 65's on the stock Z71 wheels. Only about 500 miles on them so far. I had swapped out my 265's for some used 275s after i tore a whole in a side wall but these are SO much better than either one of the others. As far a ride, these are hands down better. Yes there is some hum but its not any worse than my neighbors Terras. Its amazing how much of a difference there is between a P and a LT tire. These are only 8ply but thats plenty IMO for a half ton truck. Ended up payin $800.50 installed which is less than any other tire i had looked at. Happy so far but ill Keep everyone updated. Now i guess i just need to figure out which leveling kit to get, i think im going to go with the CCM, suggestions?

$800. I was lookin at the Goodyear Duratrac, they were 1050. The same size Terra Grapplers were 900 and i will defiently take the more aggressive tire for less money.

Thats the same size I have on mine in a 6-ply load range "C"

They fill-up the fender wells better, especially if you have a leveling kit.

Looks good. Might have to get some of them for my extra set of rims. (when I get a extra set of rims  )

Its really hard to tell a difference between a mud tire unless you drive them side by side, same truck same conditions. Are there better, probably, worse probably so. I couldnt get an all terrain for $800 so im happy just with what they cost alone. Still got 16.4 mpg on the highway so i lost about 1 there but i wont get stuck on flat ground again like i did with the BFG long trail's. With those i could break the tires loose from a dead stop....not with these.

Nope, doesnt rub at all. It gets close but close doesnt count and I've tried to see if i can make it rub and it doesnt.
