Multimedia system pictures are finally up

take a look at the pictures, there are some of the first install and some of the way it looks now. the MP3 remote has been recessed into the over head console and the DVD player has been moved from the front of the center console to the driver side section of the center console. the DVD wired remote has been put into the place were the DVD player used to be. much cleaner look. The MP3 player is under the back seat. let me know what you think. I tried to get some screen shots but the flash ruined them. I'll try some later.

Very very nice. The second install does look alot cleaner. Does the screen ever hit the gear selector lever? What Clarion head unit is it? Looks really good!! Good job and thanks for the pics. I would like a very similar install done in my truck when I can afford it.

the screen can't be out until the truck is in Drive or Neutral because of the gear shifter. Once the screen is out the truck can be put in to park and it won't hit. No problem while driving though. The Screen head unit is a Panasonic CQ-VA707W and the DVD player is a Clarion DVS9755 with built in 5.1 decoding. it's a great unit, but not the most attractive looking thing. I like the display unit that comes with the clarion though that's why I wanted the DVD player to be hidden and just have the display unit out where it can be seen. I bought everything off of a guy on E-Bay and only paid a little more then $900.00 for over $3000 worth of equipment. worked out well I think. Other wise I would never have been able to afford this stuff.
